South Yarra is a prestigious suburb that sits only a few kilometers from the Melbourne CBD. Known for its luxury home designs, mansions and modern apartments, South Yarra is a city within a city. There are plenty of amenities and activities all year round.

Chapel Street

Perhaps the most well known street anywhere in Melbourne. Chapel Street has everything you need. From boutique clothing and stores to health & well being studios. It’s home to some of the most popular cafes and restaurants. You can party the night seen or wine and dine. Chapel Street has a world of entertainment.

Fawkner Park

This beautiful reserve was created in 1862. The matured trees and plants look amazing. Perfect for a photo, picnic or some outdoor Pilates. It also features Art Deco brick pavilions and meandering paths lined with Moreton Bay figs, elms, poplars and oaks.

Take a walk along the Yarra river

There is a lovely walking track that runs along the famous Yarra River. Jump on a bike or put your running shoes on. Enjoy both the beautiful scenery and exercise at the same time. The trail will take you up to Como Park with big grass areas ideal for a picnic too.

Lunch in the park

Google map South Yarra and you’ll see how many parks it has. You are spoilt with multiple places to grab a picnic basket, bottle of wine and find an old oak tree to enjoy a warm Saturday afternoon.

Jam Factory

The Jam Factory was originally built for the Victorian Brewery in 1858. Over a century later this heritage building has become an entertainment hub. Offering a diverse range of dining options, fashion outlets, and more you’ll also be entertained with their 15 screen cinema venue.

Moonlight Cinema

A perfect setting to enjoy Melbourne’s hot summer. Grab some refreshments, mats, and a pillow, and head down to the moonlight cinemas. Watching a movie in the Botanical Gardens is a winner for that romantic night out!
